In December 2025, The Future Perfect proudly unveils the official opening of Villa Paula, its new Miami outpost set within one of the city’s most storied architectural landmarks. Originally constructed as the Cuban Consulate residence, Villa Paula has been carefully reimagined by the gallery as a dynamic space for contemporary design, where history, craftsmanship, and creative experimentation converge.
To mark this inaugural moment, The Future Perfect debuts a sweeping installation that introduces the first chapter of its ongoing program at Villa Paula. The opening presentation brings together new and recent works by Bower Studios, Autumn Casey, John Hogan, Chen Chen & Kai Williams, Källemo, Orior, Reinaldo Sanguino, Shore Studios, D’Haene Studio, and others, each selected to activate the building’s grand interiors and lush surrounding grounds.
This inaugural exhibition positions Villa Paula as a site of discovery, an environment where contemporary craft and design engage directly with the building’s rich cultural past. Additional works by Arflex, Kristin Victoria Barron, Ben & Aja Blanc, Bocci, Piet Hein Eek, Vikram Goyal, Charlap Hyman & Herrero, Ian Collings, Jason Koharik, Nilufar, Roll & Hill, Arthur Vallin, David Valner, Volker Haug, Floris Wubben, Karl Zahn, and others deepen the encounter. Together, they offer a layered, evolving experience that reflects The Future Perfect’s enduring commitment to material exploration and creative exchange.
