The Neotropic Mirror introduces the studio’s Mesozoic-inspired language through a frame composed of individually crafted ceramic tiles, each formed from distinct clay bodies, pigments, glass, and glazes. Built using a pisé-influenced process, the surface becomes a dimensional terrain where glossy highlights, matte recesses, and embedded glass create shifting patterns of light. Botanical rhythms and mineral textures emerge across the assembled elements, transforming the mirror into a sculptural study of neotropical ecologies.
