Since the 1960’s, this storied design firm has been synonymous with forward thinking, iconic work, such as the Ultrafragola mirror/lamp. With a sinuous profile that suggests long wavy hair, this piece belongs to the Mobili Grigi series of complete bedroom and living room furnishings designed by Ettore Sottsass for Poltronova and presented at the third edition of Eurodomus in 1970. With the exception of Ultrafragola, the models never got beyond the prototype phase. Now available from The Future Perfect, this classic piece of stylish modernism seems to have anticipated certain aspects of contemporary design.
